For this project the client wanted a new detached ADU in their rear yard where their existing garage is currently located. A new detached garage will be constructed on the site oriented in a way to allow the ADU front porch to still have views out to the street. The one bed one bath ADU features a covered front porch that brings you into an open living room and kitchen space. All spaces were designed with potential future accessibility needs in mind allocating additional space to the bedroom and bathroom.
